Robert Reed: Then
Robert Reed played the role of highly-respected architect Mike Brady in The Brady Bunch. He’s the patriarch of the Brady family and father to three boys — Greg, Peter, and Bobby. After marrying Carol, he becomes stepfather to Marcia, Jan, and Cindy.
With firm personal integrity and a strong sense of ethics, Reed’s character on the show is considered to be one of the most beloved dads in the history of US sitcoms.
Robert Reed: Now
Post The Brady Bunch, Robert Reed went on to do other projects. He scored Emmy’s thrice for his performances in Medical Center, Rich Man, Poor Man, and Roots. Reed also gained popularity for his roles in Hawaii Five-O and Charlie’s Angels.
Aside from that, Reed also spent his time on stage and teaching classes at UCLA. Unfortunately, the beloved actor passed away in 1992 at the age of 59.
Florence Henderson: Then
Florence Henderson played the role of Brady’s family matriarch, Carol Brady. Florence was only 35 when she accepted the role of a mother. In the sitcom, she portrays the loving albeit stern mother of Marcia, Jan, and Cindy — and, of course, stepmother to Greg, Peter, and Bobby.
Although Carol chooses to be a stay-at-home mom, she’s far from a housewife. Yes, she does take care of the kids and the family as a whole but she’s more than that. Not only is she a freelancer writer and sculptor, but she’s also a political activist and singer.
Florence Henderson: Now
After The Brady Bunch concluded, Henderson became a regular face on various spin-offs and specials of The Brady Bunch. She also went on to do other projects such as Fifty Shades of Black, Handy Manny, Matchmaker Santa, and Trophy Wife among others.
Aside from appearing in film and on stage, Henderson hosted several long-running cooking and variety shows, not to mention that she competed in Dancing With the Stars! Unfortunately, the actress passed away in 2016.
Barry Williams: Then
Barry Williams played the role of Greg Brady in The Brady Bunch. Greg is shown to love sports and is seen playing baseball, basketball, and football in many of the episodes.
Greg is the eldest of the Brady kids. He eventually marries a nurse, Nora, whom he meets at his workplace — and eventually becomes a father to Kevin Brady.

Maureen McCormick: Then
Maureen McCormick portrayed Marcia Brady in The Brady Bunch. Marcia was one of the three daughters of Carol Brady. Like her older stepbrother, Marcia is a popular but polite kid — not to mention that she’s an overachiever and puts tons of pressure on herself to perform well in every aspect of her life.
She later pursues fashion designing and ends up marrying Wally Logan. After tying the knot, Marcia chooses to be a housewife so she can take care of her kids and family as a whole.
Maureen McCormick: Now
Maureen went on to star in other The Brady Bunch spinoffs. She also appeared in shows and movies such as The Million Dollar Kid, Passions, Johnny Bravo, The Christmas Spirit, The Guardian, and more. She was last seen in a 2018 short, Aileron, in which she portrays Helen.
She’s also the author of her biography Here’s the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice wherein she reveals a lot about the pressures of growing up in the spotlight, and the toll it took on her.
Christopher Knight: Then
Christopher Knight played the role of Peter Brady in The Brady Bunch. Peter Brady was the middle child of Mike Brady. An interesting fact about him is that Peter is the only member of Brady’s family to have brown eyes.
In the sitcom, he loves to joke around with Marcia and Jan, and is shown to be very protective towards Cindy. He’s also shown to be quite close to his other brothers.
Christopher Knight: Now
After The Brady Bunch ended, Christopher continued reprising his character of Peter in other The Brady Bunch spinoffs, specials, and reunions. He also became a successful entrepreneur with his firm, Visual Software.
In 1997, he became Vice President (Marketing) at iXMicro. A year later, he founded television tuner company Eskape Labs, which he sold to Hauppage Computer Works in 2000. He was last seen in 2021 The Brady Bunch special, Dragging the Classics: The Brady Bunch.

Eve Plumb: Now
Eve went on to do The Brady Bunch spinoffs such as The Bradys. She was also seen in a host of other projects such as Yesterday Today, Kenan & Kel, Days of Our Lives, Army Wives, and The Path.
Plumb was last seen in a 2020 series The Bull as Joan Lawson. She’s also an artist and has contributed a lot of her artworks to The Brady Bunch house.
Mike Lookinland: Then
Mike Lookinland portrayed the role of Bobby Brady in The Brady Bunch. Mike is the second-youngest member of the Brady family. Because he’s close in age to Cindy, the two of them have a strong bond.
He’s close to his older brothers too — though the age difference does have an impact on their relationship. Bobby later drops out of college to become a race car driver. After a series of events, though, Bobby gives that dream up and joins brother Peter in a business venture.
Mike LookinLand: Now
Post The Brady Bunch, Mike LookinLand retired from acting — aside from making a few appearances here and there. Though he appeared in almost every The Brady Bunch special, reunion, and spinoff, he mainly stayed away from the spotlight.

Susan Olsen: Then
Susan Olsen played the role of Cindy Brady in The Brady Bunch. The youngest member of the Brady family, Cindy was a naïve but occasionally precocious little girl that had a pronounced lisp.
She was often seen sporting two ponytails throughout the show, that is until she let her hair down in season five’s “The Driver’s Seat.” Cindy enjoyed snooping and sharing secrets she discovered so the family had to help her correct her habit of tattling.
Susan Olsen: Now
Post The Brady Bunch, Susan was appointed as a spokesperson for Sindy doll. Apparently, the makers of the doll wanted to leverage her Cindy image from The Brady Bunch. Susan also appeared in a few of The Brady Bunch specials.
In 2009, she released her coffee table book, Love to Love You Brady’s: The Bizarre Story of the Brady Bunch Variety Hour. She was also a part of the 2021 special episode, Dragging the Classics: The Brady Bunch.
Ann B. Davis: Then
Ann B. Davis played the role of Alice Nelson in The Brady Bunch. Alice is a full-time house maid for the Brady family but is treated as family.
In the show, she has an ongoing relationship with Sam the butcher — whom she ends up marrying. Alice is known for her dry wit and sports her sky blue uniform in most of the episodes.
Ann B Davis: Now
Post The Brady Bunch, Ann went on to other Brady Bunch spinoffs such as The Brady Girls Get Married, The Brady Bunch Variety Hour, A Very Brady Christmas, and The Bradys.

Natalie Schafer: Then
Gilligan’s Island actress Natalie Schafer was one of the guest stars to appear in The Brady Bunch. Schafer was known for playing high-class women, and her character in this show was no different.

Natalie Schafer: Now
Post her appearance in The Brady Bunch, Natalie Schafer starred and appeared in several different shows including The Love Boat, I’m Dangerous Tonight, Matt Houston, Simon & Simon, Crazy Like a Fox, Gilligan’s Island, and more.
Natalie was also a part of the television spinoff, Gilligan’s Planet. At the age of 90, Schafer passed away in Beverly Hills, California.
Paul Winchell: Then
Famous actor, ventriloquist, and comedian Paul Winchell made a guest appearance during season three of the show’s run. In the episode, Winchell plays Skip Farnum — a television commercial director.
During a trip to the supermarket, Carol and the kids are approached by Skip, who wants to use the entire family in a TV ad for safe laundry detergent. Winchell’s performance and presence make this episode immensely entertaining.
Paul Winchell: Now
Paul Winchell was a multi-talented individual. He was an actor, ventriloquist, scientist, and comedian. Post his appearance on The Brady Bunch, he guest-starred and lent his voice to different television shows including Hong Kong Phooey, The Pink Panther Show, The Jetsons, The Smurfs, and more.
Aside from his entertainment career, though, Winchell had medical training and was an inventor. In fact, he became the first person to build and patent a mechanical artificial heart, implantable in the chest cavity. How incredible?! This talented man passed away in 2005 at the age of 82.
Bartell LaRue: Then
The Brady Bunch had lots of guest stars. One such actor was Bartell LaRue. He’s seen a couple of times throughout the show, as he portrays the football coach of the Brady boys.
Rue makes an appearance in seasons two and three. In one of the episodes, he introduces NFL defensive star Deacon Jones to Peter Brady, which was quite a big deal.
Bartell La Rue: Now
After his cameo in The Brady Bunch, Bartell La Rue kept busy with different projects including Mission: Impossible, Mannix, and Snatched. He also gained popularity for his character in Star Trek.

Vincent Price: Then
Vincent Price was associated with a host of horror projects before he made an impressive cameo on The Brady Bunch. He’s one of the few guest stars to have appeared twice in the sitcom.
Price was seen in season four episodes titled “Pass the Tabu” and “The Tiki Caves.” He lived up to his on-screen reputation and played the evil character of Professor Hubert Whitehead to perfection.
Vincent Price: Now
Post his stint in The Brady Bunch, Vincent Price was seen in projects such as It’s Not the Size That Counts, Donny and Marie, Ellery Queen, The Snoop Sisters, The Strange Case of Alice Cooper, Fun With Mr. Future, and more.

Both of these episodes were shot outdoors. Jim portrayed Zaccariah T. Brown, a zany individual who thinks that the Bradys are after his gold. This leads him to imprison the entire family in the ghost town prison.
Jim Backus: Now
Post his cameo in The Brady Bunch, Backus appeared in many television shows and movies such as Fantasy Island, The Rebels, The Castaways on Gilligan’s Island, There Goes the Bride, Slapstick of Another Kind, and more. He also did voice-overs for shows including What’s New, Mr. Magoo?, Gilligan’s Planet, and more.
He was also seen in a lot of commercials throughout the 1970s. In 1989, though, Jim passed away from pneumonia-related complications.
Ken Berry: Then
Ken Berry played his namesake, Ken Kelly, in The Brady Bunch. Ken was the Brady family’s next-door neighbor. Ken makes an appearance in the sitcom in a season five episode titled “Kelly’s Kids.”
Interestingly, The Brady Bunch’s creator Sherwood Schwartz later tried to pitch a spinoff series to ABC based on the episode. But, ABC didn’t show any interest in greenlighting the series. Therefore, the series didn’t see the light of the day and remained only in concept.
Ken Berry: Now
Post his stint in The Brady Bunch, Ken Berry went on to do projects such as The Cat From Outer Space, Guardian of the Wilderness, Little House on the Prairie, Mama’s Family, The New Batman Adventures, A Carol Burnett Christmas, and more.
He was the official spokesperson for Kinney Shoes in the ‘80s. Ken also came up with his album, Ken Berry RFD in 1970. Berry passed away in 2018.
